About Edinboro Lake Lantern Festival

Join us for a serene and magical evening at the Edinboro Lake Lantern Festival, a family-friendly event designed to DREAM, REFLECT and CELEBRATE.


On June 7th, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, come together at Pat Crawford Beach for a night of light, love, and community. 


This enchanting festival will feature family yoga on the beach, music, delicious local food trucks, face painting, and more! 


Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you personalize your own lantern, writing messages of hope, love, memories, and goals before sending it afloat on the lake. It’s a perfect opportunity to dream and reflect on the past, present, and future.


Lanterns can be purchased ahead of time below. 

*We highly recommend securing your lanterns ahead of time. Only limited quantities will be available at the event.


Please bring your own chairs and/or blankets to have a cozy place to sit by the beach.


This event is proudly hosted by The Shane Wills Team - Coldwell Banker, Edinboro.


All proceeds from lantern sales will be donated to Boro Women & Family Services.

Yes, they are 100% biodegradable floating lanterns are made of eco-friendly materials. Lantern kits will also include an LED tea light. 

Absolutely! The lanterns will contained to only a portion of the lake with floating buoy lines sponsored by Coldwell Banker, Select. They will all be collected at the end of the event by volunteers on boats.

We are currently planning a rain date of Sunday, June 8th, only  in case of SEVERE weather. We cannot guarantee food truck and vendor participation but other activities will still be offered. 

Pre-paid lantern kits will be picked up at a table by the beach at the event. You will have time to personalize it and then release it onto the lake at sunset. LIMITED quantities will be available for purchase at the event but may sell out.
